Selly Spreadlove
Selly Spreadlove (Selam Tesfai) is an Eritrean- Sculptor Artist, born in Sudan during the Eritrean war of independence against Ethiopia, and currently living and working in Germany. Her work is deeply shaped by personal history, cultural memory, and the legacy of her parents as former freedom fighters. In her ongoing series Spirit Warriors, she explores themes of inner strength, peace, and humanity. Selly merges ancient traditions with contemporary forms, creating sculptures with powerful presence and expressive faces. Her work bridges past and present, inviting reflection on identity, resilience, freedom, and the universal search for dignity.
